Allow location access in the app to see unsold books within 1 km, sorted nearest first. Distances are straight-line estimates, not driving distances. You can still browse other categories without location access.
Can I sell my own books?
Yes. Create an account, verify your email, and complete your profile. Add photos, a category, the condition, a price, and a pickup location. You can mark your book sold or remove its listing from My Books.
How do payment and pickup work?
Buyers and sellers arrange payment and handover directly. nearbybook does not process payments or provide delivery. Meet in a public place, inspect the book, and never share passwords or verification codes.
Do I need an account to browse?
You can browse books as a guest. Sign in to list a book, manage your profile, and start a conversation with a seller.
How can I delete my account?
Open Profile → Settings → Account deletion in the app, or use the Account Deletion page on this website. Submit a request without reinstalling the app; support will verify account ownership before removing your data.
